Call of Duty Warzone has surged the gaming charts since releasing in March. The game blends the traditional high-octane CoD gameplay and tactical gunplay in an energetic battle royale environment. Within days of Warzone’s release, millions of players flocked to the game, and after a month, it surpassed a whopping 50 million registered players.
However, immense popularity often comes at a cost. Like most free-to-play games, Warzone also has the same recurring issue, i.e., hackers. Consequently, Infinity Ward has handed out bans to tens of thousands of cheaters and took several stern measures to ensure a pure gaming experience. But, cheaters still persist in Warzone to this day.
Popular Call of Duty YouTuber, ChainFeeds, shared his troublesome encounter with one such rampant cheater in a fairly recent video. He showcased, and reacted, to Warzone gameplay from the perspective of a hacker. The idea is to provide insight into what these cheaters actually see on their screens while ruining the game for others.

ChainFeeds and his squad rolled out into Verdansk, engaged in gunfights, and displayed excellent teamwork. Everything progressed smoothly until a rampant hacker popped up. At first, the YouTuber couldn’t comprehend the threat as the hacker was quite far away, and could only connect a few shots. Chain initially considered this adversary as just another regular player. But little did he know what was headed his way.

Call of Duty Warzone from a hacker’s POV
Right after Chain bought redeployment for one of his teammates, everything went downhill. First, his teammate fell victim to the cheater instantly. Subsequently, he turned around the corner to engage. Instead, he went down to perfectly timed prefire and headshots from an AUG.
ChainFeeds was able to obtain the footage of the match from the hacker’s POV. On the hacker’s screen, each opponent rendered with red boxes over their character models, while in the air. Be it pistols or SMGs, the cheater took all his opponents down with consistent headshots, even at long distances. Apart from aimbot and location hacks (ESP), he also had rapid-fire and no-recoil mods.
The cheater kept tracking opponents through the walls precisely. Aware of every move his opponents could make, he kept gunning them down effortlessly. However, despite having all the hacks, the cheater foolishly fell victim to a rival and was sent to the Gulag.

Even in the Gulag, the opponent’s character model rendered through the walls, and he comfortably won the 1v1, registering headshots with a pistol. After that, the hacker continued with his malice practices and went on to secure a Warzone victory without breaking a sweat.

These hackers are a massive downside to any game out there because they mar the in-game experience of honest players, who put in the effort. A cheater is typically someone who is not good at the game, by any means.
“They don’t have gun skills; they don’t have map awareness. All they know is how to put on cheats and cheat at the game,” Chain rightly said.
