The highly awaited Inside Xbox event finally revealed a ton of next-gen titles gameplay today. The event was all about third-party gameplay reveals, giving us a glimpse into the future of gaming. Barring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, we knew little about which games would be revealed at the event. Safe to say, we were not disappointed. Although Valhalla’s reveal was a bit of a let down if anything. So without further ado, let’s dive right in and check out all the gameplay reveals we caught today.
Xbox Series X Gameplay Reveals
The reveal had a blend of new games and old. While some were a surprise, others not so much. All in all, it was a satisfying event, albeit with a disappointing end.

Bright Memory Infinite
First up on the event was Bright Memory Infinite, a fusion of action and RPG with some high-paced action and combat sequences. This was the perfect start to Inside Xbox, giving us a glimpse of the beautiful visuals of the game. The game takes place in the year 2036 , when the world as we know it no longer exists. Dirt 5
Up next came the rally racing game with an arcade feel to it, Dirt 5. The latest installment comes almost 3 years after the highly acclaimed Dirt 4 in 2017. A recent interview had already revealed that users would have the option to play the game in 4K 60 FPS and 120 FPS.

Scorn
It was time for a creepy and horrifying gameplay with Scorn. The first-person horror adventure will no doubt delight fans of the genre seeing as the two-minute-long reveal was enough to send chills down your spine. The game has been a long time coming, and will soon be a reality on the Xbox Series X.
Chorus
Chorus is something that is sure to intrigue many gamers worldwide but could just as easily not. As revealed last year, it is a musical adventure game embroiled in mythology; not something you come across every day. However, coming from the lead writer of Dragon Age: Origins, you’d expect the game to be an experience all right.

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2
The long-awaited sequel is finally around the corner. Well, to be honest, it was supposed to already be released, having an initial release month of March. However, as long as it delivers something even close to its 2004 prequel, the delay will surely be worth it. As you’d expect, the reveal was full of gruesome sequences that are sure to delight the fans. With Wayne Newton’s Danke Schoen playing in the background, it was an absolute joy to watch.
Call of the Sea
A new entry, Call of the Sea set an intriguing scene. The first person adventure game will see players take on the role of a woman named Norah. set in the 1930s, Norah is on the hunt to find out what happened to her missing husband. The adventure will take us to a beautiful South Pacific island full of mysterious landscapes and creatures.

The Medium
For all the psychological horror nuts out there, The Medium is sure to pique their interest. As the name suggests, the protagonist seems to be forced to switch between two dimensions. The plotline still remains a mystery for the most part. The atmospheric setting of the game will no doubt be excellent given the collaboration with Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka. Get ready to have your minds boggled when The Medium comes out later this year.
Scarlet Nexus
Scarlet Nexus is a futuristic RPG where a band of psycho-kinetic fighters take on mutants called ‘Others.’ Previously thought to be indestructible, a psionic hormone discovered in the human brain has enabled the warriors to take them on.
Second Extinction
Second Extinction is a first-person, three-player cooperative shooter. Set on a planet(earth?) overrun with dinosaurs, you and your team have to navigate through the dangerous landscape. The fast-paced all-action game is sure to delight trigger-happy gamers as you try and eradicate all dinosaurs on the planet.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
The much loved and acclaimed series, Yakuza, gets a new next-gen title. The RPG set in Japan follows the protagonist, named Ichiban Kasuga, who is betrayed by his boss despite going to prison for him.
The Ascent
The Ascent is a next-gen Xbox exclusive. The action RPG is set in a cyberpunk future, where the biggest megacorporation, The Ascent Group has just collapsed. Players can opt to go it alone or team up with others as they get to the bottom of what went wrong(or right?).
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
And finally, the gameplay most were waiting for- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. A bit disappointing in all fairness as there was little gameplay to behold. However, we did get a glimpse of what the story will be. Fans of the TV series Vikings ill see a ton of similarities in what we saw today. AC Valhalla follows the protagonist, a Viking raider who lands on the shores of England with the objective to capture lands anew.
