This weekend Formula One will say goodbye to Kimi Raikkonen as he will be retiring at the end of the season. There have been a few iconic moments for the Finn during his time on the grid, and now for his last race, Alfa Romeo wrote a farewell message on his car.

The Iceman is infamous for his messages on the team radio, whether it is about his drink or is asking his team to leave him alone during a Grand Prix. Keeping that in mind, the Swiss-based team dedicated a message to Kimi for his final race.

Kimi Raikkonen gets an iconic message on his car by Alfa Romeo ahead of his final race

Raikkonen is known for his no-nonsense messages on the team radio, back in 2012 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Kimi told his team, “Just leave me alone I know what to doing,” now ahead of his final race Alfa Romeo pays homage to the iconic moment.

For Kimi’s final race this weekend in F1 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Swiss-based team wrote on the side of the car, “Dear, Kimi we will leave you alone now.”

The Raikkonen’s last race in Formula One

When Kimi announced his retirement at the conclusion of the season earlier this year, the F1 world was devastated, since he is an iconic driver on the grid.

So far this season, the Alfa Romeo driver has only accumulated 10 points from the races. Kimi will be looking to win his final F1 points and  aim to take his team ahead in the constructor’s standings
