LMGs in FPS games have a love-hate relationship with players. It is never an obvious choice in fast-paced Battle Royales. Yet, you would pick it up to handle tight situations. LMGS have slow reloads and they decrease mobility. However, with high damage rounds and huge magazine clips, LMGs are killing machines. Call of Duty Warzone is a game that has a host of different LMGs.

The Bruen was causing a lot of problems for players in Verdansk. If loaded with stopping power rounds, it can destroy players in seconds. The mid-season update introduced a new LMG in the game. The newly added Finn LMG seems to have balanced out the LMG class of weapons.

The Finn should be your choice if you want to run an LMG like an AR. Warzone games get tight and demand faster reaction speeds when the gas starts closing in. The Finn allows players to benefit from the larger magazine capacities and increased mobility. But first, you need to unlock it.

How to unlock the Finn LMG?

Call of Duty is breaking stereotypes with this Finn challenge. With a slow weapon, it is not advisable to get up close and personal. But to get the Finn, you have to do exactly that.

The challenge is to get 7 melee kills with an LMG, which means you have to get kills by hitting opponents with the butt of your gun. Furthermore, you cannot do it in a single match. You are required to do so in 7 different matches.

It is advisable to decrease your opponent’s health before charging in for a melee attack. Having a teammate can help you get stealth kills.

The only other way to get the Finn is by purchasing the blueprint from the shop. You can get it in the ‘Mainframe Bundle.’

We recommend a foregrip to control the recoil and a thermal optic to spot camouflaged enemies. If you don’t run Ghost in solo matches, consider using a Monolithic Integral Suppressor in a barrel.?A Commando Foregrip in the Underbarrel can give good results as well.

But we suggest you give this aggressive class a try:

  • Barrel: XRK Longshot
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Optic: Thermal Hybrid
  • Perk: Double Time
