Indian captain, Virat Kohli is one of the only two Indians in the Instagram Rich List 2019 by Hopper HQ. Virat Kohli earns a whopping $196,000 for one post on Instagram.

Hopper HQ, an Instagram planning and scheduling company based in the United Kingdom, prepares an annual list named Instagram Rich List which ranks celebrities, sports personalities and others based on how much they charge for each of their promoted posts on Instagram.

How does Hopper Hq determine?

To determine the richest people on Instagram, Hopper HQ analyses data based on average engagement. It depends on how often these celebrities post and the number of followers they have. While the Indian captain has 38.2 million followers on Instagram, Portugal and Juventus football player Christiano Ronaldo, the highest ranked among sports persons, has 176 million.

Kohli is one of the most popular figures all over the world and endorses many top brands.

Kohli, in his latest Instagram post was seen dancing in a Puma T shirt with a caption, “Positivity attracts positivity. Your choice defines your outcome.”

Priyanka Chopra, along with Virat Kohli is the other India in the list. In fact, Priyanka Chopra ranks higher than Kohli.

The B-town girl took the 19th spot with $271,000 earned per post while the Indian cricketing superstar was at the 23rd spot with $196,000 earned with each post. The list was topped by reality TV star Kylie Jenner who $1,266,000 earned with each promoted post.

The top five rankers of the list included US singer Ariana Grande, Portugal footballer Christiano Ronaldo, model Kim Kardashian and actress Selena Gomez.

Other sportsmen in the top 25 included Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi, Lebron James, Gareth Bale, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Luis Suarez, Conor Mcgregor. Retired football stars David Beckham and Ronaldinho were also included in the top 25 while Egypt and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was 26th.
