R Ashwin deprecates the on-field outbursts following the Kings XI Punjab defeat against RCB, saying both Virat Kohli and himself play with a lot of passion. Virat Kohli mocked R Ashwin after taking his catch at the boundary in the last over.

The Royal Challengers’ skipper was charged up during the whole match at the Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru on Wednesday. The must-win match for RCB was a tensed contest as it looked like KXIP will win the match quite comfortably. But the Kings XI ended the match on the losing side.
The two captains came out with an extravagant celebration during the match. KXIP skipper, R Ashwin came with an over-the-top celebration after the dismissal of Virat Kohli during the Bangalore innings. Virat Kohli didn’t resist to answer Ashwin as he gave a fiery send-off to R Ashwin after his dismissal.
KXIP required 203 runs to win the match. They came closer to the target after some power hitting by Nicholas Pooran. But Navdeep Saini and Umesh Yadav got back the momentum to RCB after dismissing David Miller and Nicholas. R Ashwin led franchise managed to score only 9 runs in the 18th and 19th over, thanks to some brilliant bowling by Yadav and Saini.
R Ashwin entered the crease with 27 runs needed in the last over. He tried to drag a miracle for the KXIP after hitting Yadav’s first delivery for a six. But he couldn’t clear the boundary in the next ball as he was caught by Virat Kohli on long on.
Virat Kohli did not vacillate to mock R Ashwin. Virat gesticulated with his empty hand. Kohli did not stop there, he moved his right hand, which held the ball, behind his body an action similar to mankad. Ashwin fumingly threw his gloves as he reached the boundary.
However, Ashwin dodged the question about the incident between him and Kohli. He said, “I just played with passion, so does he. That’s it.”
R Ashwin also tried to Mankad Shikhar Dhawan in the match against Delhi Capitals but he failed to do so as Dhawan was already in the crease. During the next delivery, Dhawan was seen dancing outside the crease with his bat inside the crease, mocking Ashwin.

While it has been unnoticed that no other current cricketers from India came out in full support for Ashwin Mankading Jos Buttler. The support for Ashwin came only from the former Indian cricketers.
