National Hockey League (NHL) is one of the major ice hockey leagues in the United States and Canada. It is also the highest ranking professional sports league across the globe, and its Stanley Cup is widely regarded as one of the most sought after professional sports trophies. This trophy is given out at the end of each season to the league playoff winner, and it is granted annually.
The Vegas Golden Knights’ forward William Karlsson really lived up to his nickname “Wild Bill”. While in the process of congratulating the fans and his teammates in a drunken stupor, hilarity ensued.

The Vegas Golden Knights won their first ever Stanley Cup on June 14 this year since the franchise’s inception. Naturally, the emotions were running high amongst fans and players alike. And the alcohol that was flowing only added fuel to fire. While Karlsson was delivering his victory speech, things took a bit of a comic turn.
Buoyed by alcohol, Wild Bill was blissfully trash talking rival teams . At the same time, he was also appreciating his team mates’ accomplishments, especially Jonathan Marchessault for winning the most valuable player (MVP) award. At one point, the Knights’ forward even took a bit of a tumble, but clearly seemed to be on a high.
“So this guy, this f—ing guy, he was here day one, and I know you have been here day f—ing one,” Karlsson said. “You guys are so amazing. We played Arizona in the first game and we beat the s— out of them. And I had no points, but that’s OK because that year one, I was pretty f—ing great. But you guys were greater. We’ve been up and down on this journey to the cup.

She tried to take away the mic from him albeit unsuccessfully in her first attempt. The second time around she tried the same from Bill’s other side and snatched away the mic.
