Here’s a story of a woman who is ready to prove that age is just a number when one prefers to live life to the fullest. In a world, where many let the number of years dictate their limits, this woman at 87 years of age soared above expectations. 

Barbara’s “priceless” reaction after her family reveals the skydiving surprise

Barbara Cobb, an 87-year-old grandmother was all set to skydive at Buckeye Municipal Airport. She has been a resident of Sun City for more than 22 years. Barbara was not aware of the fact that she was going to skydive at Buckeye. This trip was planned by her family to surprise Barbara.

Barbara had no idea about the whole plan. Her family brought her to the Buckeye Municipal Airport and revealed the surprise planned for her just a few minutes before the dive. Barbara’s family claimed that she is “the most spunky and vibrant 87-year-old woman they’ve ever met”.

In an interview conducted by Arizona’s Family News, Barbara shared her feelings after her family broke the news to her. “I was really shocked”, said Barbara. However, no signs of fear or sense of trepidation were visible in her sparkling face.

Barbara’s reaction after hearing the plan was “priceless”, reveals her elder son. Her elder son, Edwin too was unaware of the whole plan until his brother revealed the same to him. 

She was more than ready to pull off the jump from the skies. Her elder son, Edwin, and her great-grandson, Wally would be accompanying her in the jump. 

Fear can’t stop Barbara from gliding through the clouds

Barbara mentioned that others who have accompanied them on the trip have backed out from attempting the skydive.  Although she had never done it before, she was not scared to take the leap of faith.

Barbara has always been intrigued by adventure sports like skydiving. But whenever any plan was made, “everybody started to back out”, mentioned Barbara humorously. She said that her other son, Michael, too backed out.
