Combat sports and their popularity have skyrocketed in today’s times. The superstar status of UFC fighters and WWE wrestlers in today’s world has made them reach the pinnacle of popular culture.  The ripple effect is seen as people have started to adopt combat sports maneuvers in their own unique style, especially in the streets.

A viral video circulating on social media showed one such interaction on the streets, where a wrestler faced off against two men. While it is unclear why the whole fight started in the first place, the altercation had grandeur to that of a WWE WrestleMania match. Uploaded on X by the page ‘Fight Mate’, the video has already garnered over 500,000 views in less than 24 hours.

A testament to just how popular this genre of street fights is becoming. The shirtless wrestler looked into a visible rage as people tried to calm him down, but he was in the mood for a fight.

The shirtless, angry man charged at two men all by himself and showed no signs of fear. He walked up to them and first only gave them a light slap, but from there on, things turned dramatic.

He grabbed the leg of one man and punched him with all his might. The man fell to the floor and was out cold. It didn’t take the wrestler more than five seconds to finish one opponent. The second man put up a fight and withstood his WWE-like moves, but could only defend himself.

At no point did he seem like getting the upper hand over the wrestler. He picked him up, slammed him to the floor, and punched him in the face of multiple times, before realizing that he won the fight quite some time ago.

No end to street violence

The camera panned to the first man, who lay on the floor motionless. He had a bloody nose, showing just how strong the man was and how brutal his punches were during his fit of rage. There was a vast audience too, who were heard cheering and supporting the wrestler as he unleashed his wrath.

As captivating as these clips may be it’s important to note that these brawls are best left to professionals in the appropriate environments. The last shot of this clip showed a badly beaten individual who could have suffered from long-term health complications. Violence with such ramifications in public is never a good idea. Here’s to hoping all 3 men are fine and that this doesn’t become a commonplace practice.
