Soccer fans and their love for the game know no bounds. They wear their heart on their sleeves and possess great passion, love, and affection for the team they support. At times, however, this very passionate support does tend to go overboard and results in instances of great violence.
One such instance of a fan’s love crossing all lines of decency has made its way onto social media. It was yesterday, during the Europa League match between Brighton and Ajax. The tournament was in its group stages and the two teams clashed against each other for the first game in the tournament. They met at the home ground of Brighton Falmer Stadium.

Uploaded on X by the page ‘Football Fights’, the clip showed at least a hundred fans from both sides in a titanic WWE-like clash. They picked up ladders, chairs, and whatever else they could find and smashed each other.
Police present at the scene were all but helpless due to the sheer number of fans present. The scenes mirrored what looked like a WWE Royal Royal Rumble, only with hundreds of people instead of tens in a ring.
The noise was deafening as people screamed, shouted, and let their rage get the better of them. Police officers were able to nab a few of the fans who were creating a ruckus, but it seemed almost impossible to stop the WWE clash between the two teams’ supporters.

Netizens react to intense fan clash
Just last month, a similar fan war broke out at the train station, only this time it was a few people and not hundreds. It was after the Premier League match of Tottenham Spurs and Sheffield United.
It was a WWE-style street showdown between the fans, and it saw multiple people get knocked out cold. Netizens were quick to react to the video and had much to say about the brutal clip. Let’s take a look at the top reactions to the video.
