Mikhail Markine, a member of the triumphant Airspeed team, later shared his thoughts. He said, “We’ve defended our World Cup title over 10 rounds of 4-way in beautiful Voss. The weather proved to be quite a challenge at this meet; on one competition day, we only made a single jump at 9 p.m. after waiting all day on the ground. The team felt energized by our ability to deliver a tight performance in 9 of the 10 rounds.”
With the 2023 championship team composed of Christopher Kuhlmann, Joey Marshall, Niklas Hemlin, Markine, and David French (subbing for Brendan Haddon), their victory not only showcased their exceptional talent but also their ability to adapt and excel under challenging conditions.
