The NFL is currently in full swing. We’re in week 6 and this season has been nothing short of entertaining and intense. The entire country is in the groove and the enthusiasm does not seem to be showing any signs of lowering down.

Fans have flocked to the stadiums in large numbers to show support and cheer for their respective teams. While this season of NFL is becoming popular for Taylor Swift’s introduction and involvement, there is another issue at hand, which is becoming quite the regular occurrence. Fan fights in stadiums, stands, and elsewhere have become the flavor of this season. There are several reported incidents of fans losing their control and letting rage take over.

Bears fan turn to UFC moves after NFL game

One such fan interaction was caught on Sunday, during the game between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. Usually, these fights are between the opposition team fans, but this one was unique. It had two Bears fans fighting against each other, UFC style.

The video clip showed angry fans in the midst of a scuffle. One man, later identified as Alex, took a wild swing at the other and dropped him to the floor. He was not finished yet as he went ahead to hit another fan laying on his knees. His partner rushed towards him in a bid to control him.

The man he punched UFC style came back for more, but people around avoided them from confronting him again! This season of the NFL has had a lot of focus on the behavior and violence of fans.

Fan wars just do not seem to end

This is not the first instance of violence between fans causing havoc. The deadliest interaction happened last month during the Miami Dolphins game versus the New England Patriots. A 53-year-old fan died after a fan brawl broke out.

While the footballing action this season is top-notch, such incidents have tainted what is already becoming a riveting season. The NFL has said fans’ safety is of top priority and the weeks to come will be a great test for them.
