The Dubai sky witnessed mid-air acrobatics with heroes wearing parachutes and not capes. The seventh edition of the Dubai International Parachuting Championship unfolded a symphony of skydiving tactics and precise skills, putting adrenaline at stake. UAE’s own participants Abdul Rahman Al Boush and Abdul Bari Qubaisi soared to success, grabbing the gold medals and transcending the boundaries of gravity.

The triumphant conclusion to the eminent program drew skydiving enthusiasts from around the world. Besides celebrating their victory, their achievement has been dedicated to the key founders of the nation which underscored their commitment to improving aerial sports. 

UAE skydiving stars shine bright

This year, the Dubai International Parachuting Championship pulled out 168 participants including both male and female skydivers who travelled to Dubai solely for the purpose of the competition from 27 countries. Amidst such stringent competition, the stars of the championship evolved to be UAE nationals Bloushi and Qubaisi. 

As per the reports of Gulf Today, Bloushi displayed outstanding prowess while making it through the final round of Precision Landing. Owing to his flawless performance, he overcame all obstacles that came his way and clenched the yellow medal. He proved his dominance over skydiving skills right on the opening day of the event when Bloushi made a record of achieving a remarkable score of zero centimeters in all three jumps.

On the other hand, another skydiving luminary, Qubaisi showcased his aerial mastery in the category of Water Sliding. This segment of the skydiving event tested both his individual excellence and depth of talent. Quabisi proved his dominance in both cases and the medal around his neck served as a testament to his dedication to the skydiving sport.

Crowing of the champions and honoring the key founders

It is the extraordinary performance by the skydiving duo that captured the attention of the participants and spectators at the rising prominence of the skydiving community in the UAE. Attracting 40 teams from different parts of the globe, the Dubai International Championship has turned out to be a melting pot of different cultures. 

Hence, amidst such diverse talent that witnessed the intense tussle between the Arab, European, and American skydivers, the international appeal of the competition was augmented. To celebrate this success, the Emirates Aerospace Federation dedicated the achievement to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister, and to the other members belonging to the Supreme Council. The closing ceremony that took place on 27 November, Monday marked the culmination of a week filled with daring feats and promised to carry forward the legacy of the skydiving championship.
