Chelsea Pe Benito always had a burning desire to dance professionally. With each day came a fresh set of obstacles, from intense practices to dazzling game day performances, yet Chelsea thrived in the fast-paced world she had created for herself.

For Chelsea, her transition from the graceful world of ballet to the energetic realm of cheerleading was more than just a mere change in career; it showcased her adaptability and tenacity.

“All of our [Eagles] team members either work or attend school full time,” she says. “There are cancer researchers, a physical therapist, a historian, chemists, teachers. I’m just so grateful to be in a position where I can pursue both of my passions,” said Chelsea.

As she looks back on her experience at Northeastern University, Chelsea recognizes the pivotal role the dance team played in shaping her into the confident performer she is today.
