VIDEO: Day on the Slopes Takes a Terrifying Turn as Ski Lift Malfunction Turned Adventure to Nightmare

We are all familiar with how terrible machinery fails are portrayed in action movies. Sometimes, it’s the train that gets derailed, an airplane running out of fuel. However, much to our delight, the heroes are always there in the movies to save the day and make it a happy ending for all. However, such malfunctions do happen sometimes in real life too. And as it turns out, the thrill is taken over by panic as there are no heroes in the cape or someone shooting webs to save us. 

A horrific scene has come to the forefront via a video on Twitter, now rebranded as X. The hazardous state of affairs is enough to satiate the fear-inducing cells of the brain. While people shouted hysterically while being flung into the air, we were left dumbfounded by the visual. Let’s take a closer look at the horror that transpired in the snow. 

Riders flung in the air as fear dons a new avatar on snow

It was a sunny, bright morning just like any other normal day. The snowy peaks were glistening while basking in all its glory and pride. The landscape seemed perfect for the tourists to ski lift and enjoy the serene beauty of Mother Nature. How can anything go wrong from here? You would think.  However, as the old saying goes, ‘Truth is Stranger than Fiction’, things quickly went haywire. After completing several trips for the day, the ski lift decided to act up. 

In the recording, we can see that the fag end of the ski lift, where the lift would come to a halt, began to malfunction. As a result, instead of stopping, the cars of the lift took a wild turn in the air. 

Looking at such a terrifying situation, visitors began to jump off from the coaches well before it reached the endpoint. However, in the most unfortunate manner, a group of people who couldn’t take evasive action were flung into the air and crashed with a loud thud into the snow. 

Although it seems that the group escaped unharmed, the seriousness of the situation cannot be overlooked.

Netizens were shocked witnessing the chaos that was unleashed in the snow. The spine-chilling video captioned, “Ski lift malfunction injures several riders 😳” received more than 2.3 million views.

One of the users commented, “Where was this and when?”, enquiring about the details of the incident.
