July 2 was a sensational day for the Maybach Music Group boss, Rick Ross. His annual pool party in “The Promise Land” (that’s the name for his Georgia mansion) was definitely not uneventful. Though there were literal skydivers attempting to crash into his party, the thing that went viral the most was a clip from his swimming pool.

The Failed Double Decker Slapper

Earlier this week, Rick had evidently posted a story on Instagram, promising all his followers that he’ll do a double-decker slapper.

What’s a double-decker slapper, I hear you ask? Well, even Rick doesn’t know. “The Double Decker Slapper. What is that? Who knows? I never heard of it (sic). I made it up on the diving board,” the rapper said.

True to his word, the Clarksdale-born rapper did attempt something spectacular on the diving board. However, his knee had other ideas.

He posted the botched attempt on his Instagram story, which later went viral on Twitter.

The video showcased Rick Ross surrounded by what seemed to be hundreds of people around his pool (the largest residential swimming pool in the nation, by the way), all with their phones out in anticipation. The music in the background hyped the environment up, with the ramping jumping once on the dive board, jumping twice, to his knee giving way and him falling flat on the water.

Rick Ross Reacts

“I’m going to be honest, Am I OK? Of course not, I blew my tire. I gave everyone my word I would do the Double Decker Slapper. I said on my story earlier this week.” The rapper said. “I did a double bounce and boy my knee caught a flat. Bow!”

Many fans felt that Rozay had injured himself attempting the dive, but that was not the case if you don’t count his pride at least. To make matters better, Ross later put out on Instagram that he’s hired a massage Ninja, and that the masseuse will arrive by 6 PM on Tuesday.

That wasn’t the only insane clip from his party though. His extravagant party was “invaded” by a man attempting to sky dive into his property. Everything went smoothly, and the para-sailer landed safely.
