The result of which are some spectacular performances. Now and then though, there are moments where cheerleaders get it wrong and a viral video doing rounds on social media showed one very such moment.

Alabama cheerleader gets surprise tackle

It was during the Tide’s Week 4 clash against Ole Miss. The Alabama team locked horns with them on Saturday in an intense game, but they walked away with a comfortable victory. The scoresheet at the end of the game read 24-10 in favour of the Alabama Crimson Tide, but the win did not make headlines yesterday.

During the last minutes of the first quarter, Ole Miss Rebels’ wide receiver Dayton Wade took a sweep toward the opposite side of the field and crashed into an unaware Alabama cheerleader at the side. The impact was not a soft one and would leave anybody hurt, but to everyone’s delight; she stood up almost immediately.

Reports suggested that the cheerleader did not suffer any major injuries and was in great shape. Although the tumble was quite brutal, the Alabama cheerleader was completely fine and raring to go for their next encounter.
