It is always fun to have a mascot during the game. However, it is never a good thing to say goodbye to those mascots who entertain pre, mid and post-games.
Recently, Jack of Georgetown University died and it was a tragic hour. Jack, the bulldog has been with the University since 2019.
Jack the Bulldog dies after four years of being a mascot

The bulldog, a mascot for the games of Georgetown University, died due to illness at the age of four. He was appointed as the mascot of Georgetown in 2019. It was also his birth year. He was born on 24 January in Alberta, Canada.

Jack made his place as a mascot at Georgetown University after the previous mascot retired, who was appointed in 2013. It had been a massive run for the latter after which Jack the Bulldog was appointed as the new mascot. The mascot in a basketball game has been a tradition for the past several years. There was also an incident between a professional basketball player, Robin Lopez, with a mascot.

Jack the Bulldog was loved by everyone on the campus and was worked by the jack crew and they were the people who were responsible for his well-being. After his illness and his death, there’s a major missing happening for the latter and there are hopes that people would recover from this tragic loss and would move forward with good memories of Jack the mascot.
