VIDEO: 2 High School Kids Engage in an Intense Dog Fight in the Classroom as Their Classmates Egg Them On

Amidst playful banter and hearty laughter, the classroom turns into a brawl akin to those seen in the UFC. Educational institutions are a sanctuary for learning where students come to gain knowledge. However, a fight between two students exposes the complexities associated with adolescent children.  

An unexpected clash unfolded in the classroom defying the pursuit of knowledge and painting a violent picture of what plagues our educational spaces in the social media era.

A mismatched pair involved in a UFC-style fight

The video posted on Twitter from the handle Globalfights on October 17 has gone viral with 107.6K views. In the video, a regular day in the classroom has been captured where students are packing their bags to leave at the end of their school.

Two students out of many catch the attention one wearing a blue hoodie and the other wearing a grey hoodie. The 24-second clip captures a student with a short stature giving a push to another tall student as a means of messing with his friend.

Even though the exact reason for the provocation remains unclear in the video clip, the exchange soon escalated into a physical confrontation paralleling to visuals observed in UFC. The video highlights the cruciality of understanding emotional triggers that often cause conflicts among students.

Escalation caused by the provocative stance

The incident that followed the initial provocation came as a blow to the students present in the classroom. After the push by the shorter student, he escaped, the taller student traced him down and responded with physical force very similar to the UFC-style technique. He pinned his classmate down on the ground and continued to land a couple of punches on him. 

The students involved in the fight along with the other students who witnessed this unnatural incident appeared to belong in the adolescent group. In an emotionally charged environment, the fight calls to attention the emotional turmoil that students go through in their early teens. The incident also raises concerns about bullying and the importance of addressing these issues proactively. 

In the comment section, while some viewers made sarcastic comments like, “how did they not count the punches with him smh” another raised bullying concerns, “? It seems like the guy provoked him, got pushed, and then attacked the kid.”
