Casting a shadow over the dirt bike enthusiast’s Wednesday trip, his unfortunate collision was recorded along a turn onto 90th Street. As per reports, Cao was steering a Kawasaki dirt bike without lights or reflectors when Oscar Chavez crossed his path, navigating a silver 2014 Chevrolet Silverado.
Regrettably, the dirt bike lover’s ruthless stance on unlit rides landed him in brutal impacts, with the Chevy driver failing to locate his speedy trajectory. While Chavez was seemingly poised for a westward turn along the 8900 block, he struck against Daniel around 7:39 p.m., unaware of the latter’s shadowed arrival in the dark.
While the dirt bike victim was rushed to the local Medical Center Hospital, the police reported him succumbing to his deadly injuries, pronounced unresponsive that very night. Informing his heartbroken folks, the authorities are now conducting further investigations into the matter, hoping for a changed approach in two-wheeler pursuits.
