Let’s take a closer look at the incident and bring out the details below.

Ella Mae Rayner’s gymnastic tragedy

Ella Mae Rayner, or as she was known in Gladiators, Comet, dreamt of competing with exceptionally powerful humans while beating them in all the sixteen daring tasks to become the ultimate Gladiator. The former gymnast also had to undergo metal work along with continued physiotherapy sessions to recover from the trauma. Although the footage of Rayner suffering her injury was filmed, none of the clips would be made public, as per the reports from the authorities. Speaking about the show and her injury, Comet said, This is one of the toughest shows on TV,” she said… The injury was really, really tough but I had the team around me and everyone was amazing.”

However, while everyone thought such a roadblock would hamper her mental strength, Rayner proved herself to be unique once again.

Falling to plan B has always been Rayner’s favorite go-to. While she had exceptional skills in gymnastics, presenting Great Britain early on in her childhood, something did not feel right. Measuring 5 feet 8 inches at thirteen years of age, Comet knew she had to transition. Thus, she left gymnastics and pursued highboard diving and cheerleading.
