The current No. 3 in the WTA circuit, Coco Gauff, has added yet another feather to her crown. Gauff took the world by storm after winning the US Open in 2023. Now, she has overtaken Eileen Gu and Iga Swiatek as the Highest Paid Female Athlete in 2023. This was a welcome win for the American as she had already garnered the attention of leading brands like Head and New Balance in the past.

Drawing the attention of high-profile companies is not new for the tennis prodigy. Gauff was already signing contracts with Head and Barilla by the time she was fifteen. With the new title shining bright beside her name, let us look at how much exactly Gauff made in 2023.

Coco Gauff made a whopping $22.7 million this year to skyrocket to the top of the charts. According to the list published by Sportico, Gauff received $6.7 million from salary and $16 million from her endorsements. The number might have surprised many, but a glance at her list of newly added brands this year would justify the figures.

Baker Tilly and Bose were the latest ones to sign Coco Gauff as a part of their family. Swiss watch giant Rolex too, obtained her services for endorsing their brand. The American also sported the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and even made a guest appearance in the movie, ‘The Marvels’.

Gauff’s topping the chart this year is significant in so many ways. This was the first instance when someone outside the trio of Naomi Osaka, Maria Sharapova, and Serena Williams won the title after two decades. Osaka had been missing in action after her pregnancy while Williams and Sharapova have now retired. The win surely marks the birth of a new era in Tennis.
