The podcast portrayed Nathan and Rothman remembering the surreal moments of them sharing waves with Jimmy Buffett in the crystal-clear waters of Fiji. In an act of deference, Nathan remarked, “Rest in peace, Jimmy Buffett.” Koa shared his respect, expressing, “He played songs for us that night, and we were surfing with him that night. Such a legend.” Elaborating further on Jimmy’s colorful personality, he added how the icon “loved surfing.”

Koa even narrated how active the musician was, saying, “He just happened to spontaneously be there, surfing Restaurants, and loving it.” This extraordinary meeting not only underscored Buffett’s passion for surfing but also left a lasting impression on the young surfers.
