The new owners brought with them a refreshing and different style of running the show. The change in the team’s performance and fortunes were instantly visible. They had a very successful first year, making it to the finals of the 2021-22 FA Trophy but their greatest moment in recent history happened in the National League. The takeover by the Hollywood duo also made the way for a docuseries on the team called ‘Welcome to Wrexham’. The show covered the team’s journey from the new ownership to adapting to the changes. The series impacted the club’s visibility in massive ways, leading to the birth of global fanbase and coverage from media houses all over.
