Even though the entire innings exhibited her mastery in batting, she was interrupted for a moment. The Instagram video shows Harris’ bat was already on its last legs as she faced the bowling of Perth Scorchers’ Piepa Cleary. 

However, she refused to pause to change her bat. When asked whether she needed any replacement, she responded with confidence stating, “Nah, stuff it, I’ll still hit it.”

In an interview with NDTV Sports, Harris highlighted her partnership with Du Preez that backed her up to perform better, “Minnie (du Preez) took the game on and was great support; she was picking up boundaries at the same time so I just said ‘just keep going the way we’re going and see what happens’. I knew we needed at least 180 on the wicket because it’s a very flat deck.”
