When inquired if there was a chance that he might follow in Angel’s aerial footsteps, Kimrey responded with a definitive refusal. Confessing that he would rather keep his feet firmly planted on the ground, he expressed, “No chance. Yeah. No, I love Mr. Angel and his spirit for the school. He’s from here.” While elaborating on Chris’ skydiving tour, Erik added his candid insights, stating, “The kids went nuts. That’s what’s great about this week.” Inspiringly, another incident depicting an unconventional fundraising effort by a school faculty has caused similar thrills in recent times.

Holmfirth head teacher chooses skydiving for fundraising

On the other side of the Atlantic, in Holmfirth, England, another educational leader chose to take off from the skies for an entirely different reason. Reverend Evelyne Barrow, the head teacher at New Mill Infant and Junior Schools, described facing budget issues with the institutions. With rising costs and no endless pot of money, Barrow expressed a dire shortage in the annual finances, amounting to approximately $32,980.50 (£27,000).

Taking the severity of the situation into her own hands, Barrow decided to raise funds by skydiving from an impressive 15,000 feet. She claimed the extraordinary step was driven by her sheer determination to support her students, saying, “We are underfunded and I want to make sure that the children here have the very best that they can have.” Barrow’s daring act has already gathered more than $2930.22 (£2,400) towards the school’s financial recovery, with undoubted acknowledgment from her faculty members.
