The skydiving journey of Fry began 15 years ago when he decided to try his luck in the sport for the first on his birthday. However, he had no idea that taking a chance in plunging out of the plane would soon evolve into a passion strong enough to propel him onto the international stage. Hence, Fry dedicated himself to the diverse world of professional skydiving.

From mastering the art of freefalling to learning the intricacies and tricks to enhance his performance in the sky, he ticked off every point. In an interview with Denver 7 ABC, Fry shared his experience, “Skydiving is kind of an escape and, at the same time, an opportunity to focus. When you leave the plane, there’s so much sensation and the views, the feelings, the noise — everything else in life just disappears.”

Fry has been experiencing these precious moments that offered him a unique space for both concentration and escape. Being an integral part of the artistic free-flying team Polaris, he decided to try something new and embarked on the challenge of speed skydiving. In this category, divers are required to reach a speed of more than 200 mph before pulling out of the dive and deploying a parachute.

Gradually, he mastered his skills, and competing in the Czech Republic last August he brought the bronze medal under his possession. Winning the bronze medal in the team speed category, Fry said, Man, I started feeling really honored and humbled and really excited. It’s cool to represent our country on the world stage.”

The factors that were considered while Fry basked in international recognition include measuring the vertical fall rate that challenged divers to achieve the fastest speed of a three-second average.

Besides his personal achievements, Fry extends his support to the community working for Skydive Orange Skies in Fort Morgan and in the meanwhile has completed more than 5,000 jumps. Owing to his extraordinary journey showcasing his leadership within the skydiving community, Fry has been the key figure in establishing 12 Fédération Aéronautique Internationale large-formation world records.
