Ian Azeredo, met with skydiving when his friends took him for it. At that point, he was very new and didn’t know much about the field. After attempting the skydive, it was wonderful for him to feel both his feet up in the air. He went on and on until July 4, 2019, when a catastrophe happened to Ian.

Four years after his recovery, he is planning to get back into the air again. It is with a different approach. He is working on an aircraft from the pieces of an old aircraft left in his garage.

Azeredo recalls the tragic incident with the fact that he met the ground at the speed of 70 miles an hour. It is strong enough to rip a person apart. In this collision, he broke his pelvis bone. His legs were nearly gone, and he had to go through multiple operations and intense medical care for nearly 9 months.

The medical department did everything it could to help him recover from his situation.

The prosthetics and the unimaginable

After getting back up, Azeredo finds he cannot walk on his natural legs. However, in these modern times, prosthetics make everything possible. This could just make a difference in him getting back on the skydiving mission. In modern times, some prostheses can replicate the external organs of a human body. If a person is hit in an accident and loses one of his legs, he can find equipment that can replicate the function of the missing organ. Azeredo, with medical help, got prosthetic legs that will help him walk again.

Ian may, or may not be successful in his endeavor, but his spirit of getting up and going back to his passion is commendable. Prosthetics are helping the injured athletes in modern times. It will be important to see how these prosthetics work for the skydiver.
