In a funny revelation, Matt LeBlanc stated that once, he took the writers of the show to skydiving. He stated that the writers were the “nerdiest” persons ever and he wanted them to have some fun. LeBlanc took 15 of them in total, 14 guys and a girl, whose name was Alexa. The 56-year-old actor stated, “One time I took the writers, you know what the writers on the shows look like, 14 of the nerdiest people, you know what writers look like. 14 of the nerdiest guys ever and one girl, Alexa. And we took them all skydiving. And we went through the course and me and all of these writers got into a plane out of California, and they all jumped out of the plane. By the end of it, to see the way they walked, it was like a John Wayne type.”
According to sources, this incident took place during the season 2 filming of the show. LeBlanc stated that the authorities of the show asked him to refrain from repeating such a feat. Apart from being mischievous, Matt LeBlanc also heaped a lot of praise on the writers.

The American recently appeared in an interview with Glamour, where he talked about the script of the show. LeBlanc stated that the show had some of the best writers of the time. He attributed the success to the powerful writing.
The actor went on to say that it was because of the writing that made a lot of mediocre stars gained popularity from the show. To quote LeBlanc, “Still, on Friends, we had some guest-stars who were less than spectacular, not the stunt-casting, but just regular guest-stars, and they weren’t particularly great actors, but the material was so good that they scored. It’s the writing.”
