Dave Kearney is all set to join the Chicago Hounds this season. He will, from now on, be a part of the coveted Major League Rugby. Updating his fans about the news, Kearney’s wife, Becca, uploaded an image on social media. The picture portrayed the image of Kearney and his wife, who were all smiles as they had their bags packed. It further pictured the couple heading towards their airport, confirming their journey to the USA.

Becca captioned the post by writing, Let the adventure begin… Chicago and a snowstorm with highs of -16 await!”  As it is evident from the post that the couple is very excited to start their new journey, fans and critics have also expressed their opinions about the same. According to some of the experts of the game, Kearney’s move from Ireland to America could prove to be a boon for the athlete. They also stated that things might turn out to be ‘legendary’ if Kearney can keep his composure and continue the good work.

Kearney joined his Irish club Leinster 14 years ago and since then, he has been one of the pillars. The athlete appeared for 185 matches for his team after he debuted against the Dragons way back in May 2009. Kearney boasts of six Pro 12/14 titles, a Champions Cup, and scored 55 tries. He also donned the jersey of his national team on 19 occasions and was a member of the 2014 winning team of Ireland Six Nations.
