“It’s So Empty Without You…” – Television Personality Savannah Chrisley Devastated by the Death of Her Fiancé, a Professional Hockey Player

Savannah Chrisley is currently going through the toughest phase of her life. The reality star’s ex-fiance, Nic Kerdiles, died in a motorcycle crash on September 23, 2023. The whole incident has shocked Savannah and her close ones. Kerdiles’ untimely death has also sent shock waves to the entire sporting world.

Kerdiles was a famous NHL star who played for the Anaheim Ducks and Winnipeg Jets. However, his professional career lasted only five years. After retiring from professional sports, he started his career as a real estate agent in Nashville.

A Tragic Loss of Life for Nic Kerdiles

Savannah and Kerdiles started dating in November, 2017. Kerdiles quickly became a household name after he featured in the reality show ‘Chrisley Knows Best’. However, both of them became quite serious about their relationship. Kerdiles proposed to Chrisley on the eve of Christmas, 2018. Everything went on smoothly for 2 years. However, in 2020, the couple called off their engagement. According to the reports, the couple split up mutually and had a lot of respect for each other.

The death of Kerdiles has affected Savannah a lot. For a 29-year-old guy, losing his life in a bike accident is tragic. Culturess penned down some thoughts of Savannah, which she uploaded on her Instagram.

“Nicolas Henry Stephan Kerdiles…I wish you could see all the people that are showing up and loving you right now. I can see that grin of yours so clearly. You left such a mark on this world and it’s so empty without you…” Chrisley began the caption.

She continued, “It is impossible to believe that you are really gone. I am not sure how to even absorb that news.” Chrisley went on to explain how she’s feeling numb and keeps texting Kerdiles’ phone, hoping he’ll respond.  “I had just turned 20 when we met, you were only 23, we were just kids learning about life and love and trying to make it all work,” she wrote.

“We had some really great, bright moments, and we had some really hard ones, but the part of our relationship I will hold on to will always be the moments in the middle. It will be the day-to-day life we got to share for 5 incredible years.”

Hopefully, Savannah Can Recover From the Loss

The whole incident has affected Savannah a lot. Also, the loss affected the sporting community as well. Messages have flown in from the sporting community as well. She mentioned about their breakup as well and wrote:

“Just because some things don’t work out, or don’t last forever, doesn’t make them less special or less meaningful. We learned how to love together. Learned how to be adults and entrepreneurs and professionals. We tried new foods, explored new cities, and created so many memories along the way.”
