New Orleans State Quarterback Jake Haener is in trouble. They suspended the rookie quarterback for the first six matches of the season. The league announced the suspension on Wednesday. However, the league did not mention the substance for which they have announced the suspension. Moreover, the ban comes just before the start of the 2023 season. Haener feels disappointed to face this suspension as he cannot participate in the tournament from the beginning. However, he is confident that he will come back stronger after this debacle.
Players not only in the NFL but also is different sports take supplements prescribed by their trainers. However, few supplements contain some of the banned substances as a result of which the athletes get banned. Haener getting banned will be quiet a set back for New Orleans State. Haener and the team management will have to be patient during this period.

Setbacks are a part and parcel of every sports person. The setbacks can be in the form of injuries, sometimes the form goes off and sometimes you get banned from playing the game. Jake Haener is the fourth round pick of the 2023 NFL draft. Although, he played all the preseason games for the team, he won’t be able to participate in the tournament. In recent interviews, he made it clear that he was unaware of the substance and did not take it knowingly. “I recently learned that I tested positive for a substance banned by the NFL earlier this summer,” Haener said in a statement on Instagram. “I still do not know how the substance got into my body, as none of my supplements or prescribed medications contain the banned ingredient.

Quarterbacks getting banned from the game are very rare. In 2018, the officials banned Mark Sanchez from the game before Jake. The only positive out of the entire situation is that they have banned him only for six matches and he will be eligible to play after that. Hopefully Jake will comeback fit and ready to go.
The comeback is always greater than the setback

In the previous season, Jake was battling with Taysom Hill for the position of the quarterback. However, with the suspension, Jake will lose a bit of momentum and game time as well. Jake will have to wait for his time in this season and have to capitalize on it. New Orleans State will be waiting eagerly for the comeback of Jake Haener. However, it will be the responsibility of the player to make sure he doesn’t get suspended again.
