Netflix is recently releasing some great shows, among them are documentaries which are legit masterpieces. It started with serial killers documentaries, and now Sports is also being covered under the documentary section.

A recently showcased Netflix series is set to be released in the first week of August. This series covers the life of a famous NFL star.

An NFL star and a suicide

In the trailer of the upcoming documentary on Netflix, “Untold,” there seems to be one episode about Johnny Manziel, one of the most controversial figures in the NFL. In the documentary, he mentions the ups and downs of his life, especially his dark face, where he struggled with drugs as well as some bad decisions, which ultimately led him to attempt suicide.

After the trailer got released, there is a vivid picture that portrays him trying to commit suicide, and after the gun malfunctioned, he flew away to his family to recover from all the trauma he was going through.

Johnny started very well. He was a promising NFL star in the beginning of his career.

Johnny Manziel started well and was at the top playing for Texas A & M. Even one of the most prestigious trophies known as the Heisman Trophy is under his name. He was in the 22nd draft and got recruited by the Cleveland Browns in 2014. From here, things went real south for him. The two years were turmoil for him, after which he was released from the team.

After this release, he came to know that he had bipolar disorder. This was also the time when he tried to commit suicide. He even mentioned the presence of the gun as he was planning it for a very long time. Everything that could be worse was happening to him. He was also using cocaine and OxyContin, which had side effects, and he lost 40 pounds in nine months.

He also revealed that he spent nearly $5 million without any particular reason. It was just because he was trying to commit suicide, so he was losing his earthly possessions. It is the extreme level at which he was. The malfunctioning of the gun was somewhere a sign from the universe and he took that and he changed his life. Now, the series which is going to be released on August 8 has a curious audience around it to know more about this NFL star.
