Gillette, one of the leading brands in the world, recently launched its GilletteLabs NFL Salute to Service Razor. The brand has been in a partnership with the US Military for a very long time. The idea behind launching the product is to honor the service members and their families.
The new product has the NFL Salute to Service camouflage design in place. It helps us to remember all those who lost their lives. Along with this initiative, the brand is also supporting the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
Gillette and It’s Partnership With the US Army

Gillette, as a brand, has been supporting the US Army for a very long time. The first partnership between these two dated back during the World War 1. However, during that time, the brand was only responsible for providing shaving tools. Now Gillette, as a brand, is helping the army by taking up many other different initiatives as well.
The brand also made a donation of $250,000 through TAPS. Bakersfield shared some experiences during the launch of the product.
“Gillette’s military heritage runs deep, and this razor is a reinforcement of our appreciation of those who have served and continue to serve,” said John Claughton, Vice President of Grooming for Gillette North America.
“As Veterans Day approaches, we encourage consumers to join us in saluting the best with Gillette,” the VP declared.
TAPS is the leading national organization which supports the family members of the soldiers. The organization is providing the support from 1994.
Gillette now continues its support through TAPS through the NFL Salute to Service initiative. The whole initiative is aiming to improve the lives of the families who lost their loved ones.

The Salute to Service Initiative
The salute to service initiative is an initiative taken up by the NFL. It is a year long initiative which also supports the veterans and their family members as well.
The whole initiative started in the year 2011 and has been providing services for the last 12 years. It has helped to raise more than $66 million for military and veteran support organizations.
