Kirk Cousins is having a tough time at the moment. In the game against the Green Bay, Cousins tore the Achilles tendon of his right foot in the fourth quarter. This meant that the promising QB would have to sit out for most of this season. Although there are no confirmed dates on when he will be back, the latest video showed Cousins having a fun time at his house. 

This video gained traction as the 35-year-old was seen ‘practicing’ with a new teammate. So who was this new guy and how Cousins was able to practice amidst his injury? 

Kirk Cousins spends a day with son

In a recent Instagram story, the 35-year-old was spotted having fun with his son. The opening seconds of the video portrayed Cousins relaxing on a couch. He was wearing a sweatshirt that had a reddish tinge, and the plaster on his right foot was also visible. However, there was another person in the video. 

The vibrant son of the Vikings’ QB. Cousins threw a rugby ball towards his son and guess what, he caught it with perfection! The little one ran towards the ball with intensity and crash-landed on a heap of pillows as he got hold of the ball. Cousins captioned the story, “Coop’s the only receiver I get to throw this weekend.”  

Such a lovable scene was sure to garner fans’ attention. They indeed were quick to react on the matter.
