The end of the October School break in Scotland was awaiting a royal surprise. Prince William and duchess Catherine Middleton travelled to the countryside. Except this time, they swapped their regal attire with mountain bikes and athletic gear as they dedicated themselves to a day full of adventure, pedaling and laughter.

The joint engagement took place amidst the picturesque landscapes in Scotland. The visit of the royal couple was entwined with a greater cause of dedicating themselves to supporting local communities in Moray and Inverness.

Prince William and Kate bike to share a message for the Scottish youth

The first stop of Kate and William’s tour took them to the award-winning charity, “Outfit Moray” that is committed to providing life-changing  activities and outdoor learning programs to the youth.

Since 2003, the charity has been helping disadvantaged children aged between 8 and 18. Tony Brown, the chief executive of Outfit Moray shared his views with Hello Magazine, “ It’s our 20th anniversary this year, and what a great way to celebrate that milestone and look forward to another 20 years.”

At the Burghead Primary School, the Royal couple engaged in an exhilarating mountain biking session. The royal duo from their official Instagram handle has posted about their noteworthy visit for a charitable cause.

Before setting out on mountain bike rides, William spared his time to engage with the children interacting with them about their favorite sports and football teams.

Being a part of this adventurous stunt, William and Kate wanted to send a strong message highlighting the importance of engaging in outdoor experiences for young people to overcome challenges as it builds confidence.

A compassionate conversation with the local farmers as fan reactions outpour

The humble nature of the Royal couple resurfaced as they interacted with a farmer, Lucy McGillivray who is also the representative of the National Farmers Union Scotland.

McGillivray shared her insights on Willian and Kate showing interest in learning about her farming journey and the flood conditions in Moray stating, “They were just lovely people-really down to earth.”

Besides engaging into the biking adventure, the style game of William and Kate was going strong. Twinning in green jackets, they both wore a red poppy pin as an accessory that has found a place in the wardrobe of the royal family since 1921 as a gesture of commemorating the soldiers of the UK and Commonwealth countries who lost their lives in the war.
