The video was shared on Twitter from the account, ‘TheFightCentral’ with the caption “They wildin’ at McDonald’s”, capturing a scene straight out of an action movie. Two women got engaged in a heated altercation, defying the otherwise known setting for a family-friendly atmosphere. 

As the video went viral, the fans could easily draw parallels between the McDonald’s melee and the controlled chaos of MMA. Even though the sport gives full disclosure of the risks and liability, fans often fail to draw the line and end up role-playing the MMA moves in real-life scenarios.

As one woman landed a series of punches before pinning down the other woman on the ground and another one cheering from the audience, prompts discussions about safety in public spaces.

The act of violence has been condemned by one of the fans stating, “This is not what God want”

The beastly nature of the fight has been highlighted in the comment, “Fought they dogs.”

Another comment also highlighted the triviality of civilization, “If you are a civilized person and find yourself in this environment and you do not leave…It’s on you.”
