VIDEO: MMA-Style Beatdown on Street Takes Social Media by Storm as Prank Goes Wrong

Pranking people can get you into serious trouble! In the realm of social media trends, people try a variety of shenanigans to appear in the limelight. Over the years, several acts have become popular, and they become trending instantly. Ranking high up on the list of those trends are pranks. Innumerable people have attempted prank videos in the past, each with a new twist to their content. Today’s video, too, deals with a similar type of trend. The only difference is that the video came out as utterly unsuccessful with things going horribly wrong. 

As the prankster attempted to scare a passerby in a fun way, the man did not seem to take it as a sport. Thus, he lashed out brutally, reminiscent of an MMA beat down on the prankster. He was relentless in his pursuit until outside intervention was necessary. So what exactly happened? What did the prankster do to infuriate his attacker? Prankster gets a MMA-style lesson as road rage ensues 

The video was uploaded by Smoke It Out on Twitter, recently rebranded as X. In the twenty-four-second-long video, we can see a man standing outside what looks like a departmental store. The man was wearing a hat, coupled with a black T-shirt and jeans. As he stood by the door, nothing seemed off about the backdrop. It occurred as a random clip of a superstore on a regular day. 

However, the atmosphere would soon take a surprising turn as a pedestrian was seen approaching the man. It was quite evident from the body language of the standing man that he had some plan in his mind. Just as the pedestrian passed the man, the man attempted to scare him by mimicking and charging at him aggressively. This was probably a decision that he will regret forever. 

Although the man never hit the pedestrian, he did not take this action as a sport. In a swift motion, he dodged the anticipated attack, got up, and threw a brutal punch in the face of the man with a black t-shirt. The unsuspecting man immediately got knocked out and thudded on the floor. However, the pedestrian did not stop. He was, by now, taken over by rage. Relentless punches followed as the pedestrian positioned himself on top of the knocked-out man. 

Sensing danger, the camera crew ran in to intervene. With a great amount of difficulty, they finally managed to put the pedestrian away. Unfortunately, by then, the damage was already done. The prankster lay unmoved on the ground as the crew checked on him. Although there are no updates about the well-being of the man, we wish him a speedy healing.

The video captioned, “Prankster tries the wrong dude 😳” received almost 80k views at the time of writing this article. Fans reacted to the video in the comment section.

One of the users commented that this clip was like a ‘war’. Not sure if a war can be such a lopsided one.
