?MMA is a very fast game. Punches are thrown from every direction and at such a fast speed that it is sometimes very difficult to tackle them. If we call it the game of speed, we also have to call it the game of precision as some knockouts are delivered by a perfect punch which lands in the perfect place.

When a person receives a knockout, it?s basically him getting unconscious for some moments. When a person is unconscious, there could be random reflexes, and the brain becomes a little dizzy. Recently, after receiving a very hard punch, the player fell down and put all his rage into submission. What he didn?t realise was that he was not grabbing his opponent.

In a recent surfaced video, we see that after getting some hot punches by his opponent, an MMA fighter gets on the ground. The referee immediately separates the two fighters. It turns shocking when the player falls down and thinks his opponent is onto him and not the referee. He immediately grabbed the referee for submission and performed a submissive move.

Instantly everyone steps in to save the referee, and after some moments, the player realises that he has got the wrong person in his submission. The referee couldn?t believe it, but it was purely instinctive as it was survival for the MMA fighter, who was on the ground.

He would have thought that the fight is open, and the opponent is still on top of him and punches would be coming any second. That could be the only reason which could explain this submission. Knockout is one beautiful way to win a match during a UFC fight. It is a constant war among MMA fighters to get the record of the most knockouts.

Record for most knockouts and the challenge

Matt Brown, and Lewis ?the Beast?, together hold the record for the most knockouts at 13. This was challenged by Conor McGregor, one of the well-known names in MMA. In a tweet, Conor McGregor wrote that he would be very near breaking that knockout record by the holders as he is young and he already is at eight knockouts. It would be interesting to see if McGregor could really reach that peak.

There were no severe injuries faced by the referee during the submission move. It was purely unintentional by the fighter, so things didn?t go south between the referee and the fighter. This is the beauty of MMA. No matter how furiously you attack your opponent, there is always a sense of respect for the officials.
