A fight between an amateur and a trained fighter will often than not prove to be one without surprises. Well, there was no miracle or underdog story in this MMA-inspired basketball court brawl.

A boy brutally took another down in a one-sided fight. Uploaded on X by the popular page ‘JCFights’, the video showed two boys ready to square up against each other. From their initial stances, it was evident that who was likely to win the battle.

Basketball court turns into an MMA octagon

It started with the waiting game as both moved around, patiently waiting for the first strike. The shirtless boy made the first move and went straight for the kill. He displayed astute fighting intelligence and brought his A game.

Using his speed, he first went for the leg, causing the other boy to lose balance and fall. He then locked him in a MMA styled rear naked choke. What followed after was only a one-sided beat down as he unleashed his inner MMA spirit on the basketball court.

The other boy was in no position to retaliate and take back some control. Others watching eventually had to intervene and use their force to stop the boy from brutally harming him.

A similar video was doing rounds on social media a few weeks ago. It showed a fight between two young girls in a school canteen. She charged from behind and had her tangled in a leg lock and chokehold, similar to the ones we see during MMA matches.

An evening of fun basketball at the court became a nightmare for one boy. He walked into the fight with great confidence, but as the adrenaline wore out, he walked away with nothing but wounded arms and legs.
