The heart of Buffalo, New York, played host to an inspiring display of athleticism and resilience. RiverWorks Arena did the honors of hosting The 2023 Wheelchair Lacrosse Nationals from August 25-27.

He said “Think about the ability to carry that stick, move the chair, catch the ball, throw the ball, keep the chair moving. We’re happy to showcase this growing sport to Western New York.” The Buffalo Bandits embodied the essence of the tournament’s motto: “Realizing that they can achieve anything, just maybe a little different way.

Milwaukee Eagles won the coveted title after they defeated the Colorado Mammoth in the finals. This also meant that these teams had secured themselves a spot in the history of the sport. Only the profound sense of unity was able to match the intensity of the contests. Nearly a dozen teams participated and 35 games were played in the tournament. Naturally, this acted as a showcase of the incredible talents of its athletes.
