Just days ago, Max Holloway, at the youthful age of thirty-one, gave an unexpected cameo at a Japanese wave tank. Holloway is renowned for making his octagon opponents appear sluggish and awkward. However, seeing him display new facets of his talents is surely refreshing.

Holloway grew up in Oahu, a place that surfing legends Sunny Garcia and Johnny Boy Gomes call home. Naturally, the salty allure of the ocean runs deep in Holloway’s veins.

He teamed up with his former pro surfer wife, Alessa Quizon while showcasing different moves. From daring high-lines into the tube to performing a shallow-water Haka, he did it all.
