The Sacramento Kick Ball game ended up with a brawl on Tuesday Night. However, the kickball game is a part of the Sacramento Sports and Social League. Everything went on smoothly till the last minutes of the game ended violently. The reason for the fight is still unknown, and the investigation is still going on.

However, few of the players reported that the fight happened because of a spectator. The incident occured around 9 p.m. Tuesday at Franklin Roosevelt Park, leaving one player completely knocked out on the floor.

The Brawl shocked Jovi and Laniah

Kickball is one sport which is included by the Social League. The organizers conducted the entire event to bring people together through social events. Jovi and Laniah were not present in the game, but both of them participated in the Sacramento Kick Ball for consecutive five years. According to their experience, both of them did not see anything as violent as this ever. The video of the brawl went viral on the social media. Many participants in the past also viewed the brawl online and seemed shocked.

Both Jovi and Laniah shared their experience through cbsnews“It really is just a fun, friendly league. It’s just about adults having fun and doing recreational sports and nothing more than that,” Jovi said. Whereas Laniah said, “After five seasons playing kickball with Xoso. This is definitely an isolated incident. I’ve never seen anything like this.” 

The Sacramento Police Department responded to the fight reports 15 minutes later. Moreover, the Xoso Sports and Social League also released a statement of the matter.

Xoso Sports and Social League also issued the following statement,“We are extremely saddened by the event that took place after our games concluded Tuesday night. Our team is committed to keeping Xoso a welcoming, fun, safe environment for all our employees, players and supporters…The association has zero tolerance for this behavior.”

The further statement of the community said that throughout our 15 years in business, they’ve experienced very few physical altercations, and none of them have been of this magnitude. With an annual community of 20,000 players, it’s important to note that this tragic incident does not reflect the values upheld by their community or company.

Moreover, the authority assured people of how they have been reviewing multiple videos in order to find out the one responsible behind such brawls. They finally concluded, their goal is to swiftly remove those responsible from their leagues.
