However, she failed to survive and succumbed to her injuries. Apart from the State police, the rescue operation was assisted by the operations staff of the park, state park police, and rangers from the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

His husband along with her family has been devastated, and he expressed his regret, “I’m sorry I didn’t manage to get to you in time sayang [dear in Malay]”, as compiled by SCMP. The emotional plea reflected the immense loss he felt while trying to come to terms with the tragedy.

Collaborative rescue efforts couldn’t save the 39-year-old

Both Nur Aisyah and Abdul Rauf were esteemed co-founders of a real estate investment firm, primarily focusing on the US market known as Noble Sky International. Besides their professional obligations, the duo enjoyed hiking and used to find solace amidst nature. It was with much enthusiasm that they started their hike at Minnewaska State Park Preserve without knowing what waited for them.
