According to official reports from Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visitor’s age was around 20 years. Although no further information is available about the gender or the name, it is reported that the Korean hiker was found dead at a guest house. The guest house is located at Gokyo, Nepal, at an astounding 4750 m above sea level. This settlement is believed to be one of the highest in the world.
According to reports from The Korean Herald, the visitor probably met his demise while being in the middle of a shower. The 20-year-old was reluctant to take the help of a local guide and was determined to finish the hike on solo terms.
