It was a year ago that Pryzby took this life-altering decision of her life to a stranger and knew nothing about the recipient. Even though she takes regular updates and is overjoyed knowing they are doing well. At present, she is undergoing different workouts including hiking, running, and stair climbing as she has set her sight on the upcoming challenge in Guatemala joining a group of 17 kidney donors from all across the United States. The challenge consists of conquering a total altitude of 12,000 vertical feet within a restricted time span of four days.

In an interview with Atlanta News First, Pryzby shared a glimpse of her motive behind a charitable hike, “Really the goal is to raise awareness that people can donate a kidney and live long, healthy, adventurous lives and still do cool things like hike volcanos.” Hence, Pryzby sets an example that individuals can take part in charitable adventures even after organ donation.
