As per Surrynowleader, the rescue team said “When we flew in, she was face down, prone on the snow, but she could move her head and hands, so we knew she was alive and conscious. This was a great example of years of training and cooperation paying off in a dramatic rescue of two hikers, who were well prepared and suffered an unfortunate accident,”

With the help of a rescue platform, the team successfully rescued and shifted the injured woman. The team used an airlift to shift the man to safety. Luckily, the couple survived a massive scare with very minor injuries. A good support system and emergency facilities helped them in this situation.
