The unexpected clash took place between the Morgan State University football team and Norfolk State University Spartan Legion. The incident took place on October 29, Saturday as the brawl quickly escalated into a confrontation involving punches and shoving. A homecoming football chaos on display

Recently, a Twitter video has been doing rounds all over the internet posted by the official handle of HBCUshaderoom, exhibiting bits and pieces of the incident. The video seized the scene where Morgan State and Norfolk State found themselves nearby. While watching the video, it seems that the clash took place between the players of Morgan State and Norfolk State band members, drawing parallels to a WWE ring.

In the video, the Morgan State players decked up in white jerseys are seen confronting band members adorned in black attire. Even though it started as a verbal confrontation, it eventually spiraled into physical aggression. The point of intensification of the altercation took place when a player had an encounter with a flagpole that led to fueling the tension.

As the clip featuring only a short span of 31 seconds continues, the intensity of punches thrown also keeps on increasing. Even though not much could be deciphered since there had been a huge crowd encompassing the chaotic brawl, another MSU player entered the fray, contributing to the commotion.

MSU overcomes controversy by claiming victory
