The bond between parents and children is a really crucial part of the child’s development. Focusing on this, Milford High School in Ohio provided children with the opportunity to express their talents with their parents.
Meet Lindsay Partenio. Former American Ninja Warrior competitor and mother of a beautiful daughter, Gaby. Gaby’s school had invited parents to cheer and tumble along with the school’s cheerleaders, and Lindsay grabbed the opportunity with both hands. What followed was nothing short of awesome.

Partenio, who is in her “Cheer Mom Era”, went on to her daughter’s high school to participate in the event. What she didn’t know, was that a video that captured the moment the mom-daughter duo shared, would make its rounds on the internet, becoming viral overnight.
The former Ninja Warrior had first shared the video on her Instagram and TikTok. However, ESPN soon got a wind of this video, blowing it up, and sharing this heartwarming video with millions of fans across the world. Since then, a lot of people, and on a lot of platforms ranging from YouTube to TikTok shared it.

Lindsay and her daughter shared an amazing frontflip, while Lindsay continued her tumbles for quite a bit more. Her efforts immediately caught the audience’s attention who immediately began clapping and cheering for her.

However, this is not where the story ends. She pulled off these chain front flips, with what appeared to be a knee brace on her right leg. Keen-eyed fans were quick to notice, wondering what happened to her leg, and appreciated her performance despite an injured leg. One user in particular wrote, “Dang, that mom got skills!”
American Ninja Warrior and Torn ACL
With a little digging, it is quite easy to find out that the 38-year-old mom from Ohio participated in the American Ninja Warrior season 11. She competed in Cincinnati and had cleared the notorious Shrinking Steps obstacle course. However, her later failure at the Ring Swing saw her drop out of the competition.
She later had an injury, sometime in 2019, and has been recovering from the injury since then. This explains the knee brace that she was wearing, which presumably, is an attempt to prevent the injury from flaring up further.

Fans also took immediately to where her daughter got the gymnastics genes from. One user on YouTube wrote “Well, she had to get it from somewhere. And I don’t think it was her dad.”
Many other encouraging comments also popped up. One user, who is presumably acquainted with the mom-daughter duo wrote “Love these girls! Go Milford!!”
However, it was one particular Instagram comment that stole the show. In response to ESPN’s caption “Mom had to show off the tumbling skills”, she wrote – “Shows off? Or better yet, mom shows how it’s done”
