With a focus on Grand Tour victories, Allert emphasized that their financial data has been strategically aligned to secure success. While noting the most challenging stages of cycling tournaments, the Australian CEO remained ambiguous about whether his team boasted the largest budget in the sport.

While exuding confidence in this cycling budget, Allert further labeled it as a precise move based on the needed parameters for Ineos Grenadiers’ triumphs. Although he took the reins just a few months ago, the team found themselves in waves of fiscal transition. Highlighting the departure of the team’s founder, Dave Brailsford, he hinted at the crew’s ongoing evolution.

As Brailsford assumed his more senior position within the cycling hierarchy of Ineos, the team’s structure marked Scott Drawer stepping in. With candid support for his role as the new Head of Performance, Allert explained, “He embraces data and technology, and I don’t think that alone will provide the answers”, while continuing, “We won’t leave a stone unturned in terms of trying.”
